This scholarship was established in memory of Dave Sanders a computer lab and business instructor at Columbine High School in Littleton, Colorado. He was among those killed on April 20, 1999 while helping students to safety and was the only teacher and non-student killed. The scholarship was created and operated by the Mile High Chapter of AITP and is used to provide grants of tuition and book aid to Columbine High School graduates seeking technology-related college degrees.
The application period for this scholarship is from January 1st to April 1st of each year.
